摘要:
植物腊叶标本承载着植物的综合信息,是研究植物科学以及指导生产实际的重要依据。戈特里布·芬次尔(Gottlieb Fenzel)是原国立西北农林专科学校(现西北农林科技大学)林学学科的第一位外籍教授,其工作对中国林业发展,尤其是西北地区营林造林工作奠定了基础。研究芬次尔在陕期间采集的植物标本将有助于了解当时陕西乃至西北地区的植物多样性,是研究近百年植物多样性变迁和保护的重要基础资料。基于国家标本资源共享平台和中国数字植物标本馆等数字化信息以及植物标本馆实体标本、采集记录和文献资料等信息,我们对芬次尔在陕期间(1933-1936)采集的植物标本进行了初步整理和研究,发现现存标本共1 800份,经核实鉴定且信息无误者1 359号1 784份; 具有可参考价值者1 120号1 576份720种,隶属97科343属,其中蔷薇科(Rosaceae)所占种数最多; 标本采集覆盖陕西、甘肃、青海以及内蒙古等4省区,其中在陕西省采集标本1 397份、占总份数86.10%,主要集中在渭河流域和秦岭山地; 芬次尔根据实地考察与标本采集活动详细总结了陕西以及西北地区的树种组成。这些实地采集的标本是西北地区早期植物多样性研究的重要资料,也是其提出中国西北林业创新理论和设立示范林场的重要依据,对当代陕西林业发展和创新具有重要的意义。
Abstract:
Herbariums as the past records of plant history bearing abundant information is the fundamental evidence for studying plant science and provide the basis knowledge for agriculture and forestry production. As the first foreign forestry professor working in the College of Forestry, Northwest A & F University, Gottlieb Fenzel has made outstanding contributions to the development of forestry in China, especially the afforestation in Northwest of China in the twentieth century. Studying his herbarium collection is more conducive for us to research biodiversity and understand his forestry thoughts. With the help of the digital information of National Specimen Information Infrastructure and Chinese Virtual Herbarium, as well as the herbarium of NWFC and WUK, collection records and literature, we studied the herbariums collection of Gottlieb Fenzel and briefly evaluate his contribution to the development of forestry in Northwest of China. Our results showed that there are1800 specimens collected by Fenzel during his work in Shaanxi(1933-1936), and 1784 specimens were verified and identified with correct information. There are 1576 specimens with reference value, a total of 720 species, belonging to 97 families and 343 genera. Rosaceae accounts for the largest number of species. The specimens collected by Fenzel were mostly from Shaanxi, Gansu, Qinghai and Inner Mongolia. Among them, 1 397 specimens were collected in Shaanxi, accounting for 86.10% of the total, mainly concentrated in the Weihe River Basin and Qinling Mountains. Fenzel summarized the tree species composition in Shaanxi and Northwest of China in detail according to field investigation and specimen collection activities. These herbariums are important references for studies on earlier biodiversity in Northwest of China and extremely important information for understanding the theory of forestry innovation in Northwest of China and its idea to establish demonstration forestry farm.
